Configuration Guide
Configuration 1: Updating Page Layouts
To add the new lookup fields to the Project page layout, take the following steps:
- Navigate to Setup > Create > Objects > Project
- Scroll to Page Layouts and click edit on Inspire Project Layout
- From the Fields section above, drag and drop desired fields on the page layout (Opportunity, Campaign, Case)
- Click Save when finished
To add Related List to associated Objects, take the following steps:
- Navigate to object, this example will use Opportunity. Navigate to Setup > Customize > Opportunities > Page Layouts
- Select your desired Page Layout and click the Edit link
- From the Page Layout toolbar, click Related Lists
- Locate Projects and drag and drop the related list to your desired position
- From the Projects related list, click the wrench icon
- Select your desired fields to display (we recommend Project Name, Description, Account, Campaign, Case, Created By), then click OK
- Click Save
- Click Yes if prompted
Configuration 2: Updating Project Status values
In order to update your Project Task statuses to align with Salesforce Tasks, complete the following steps:
- Navigate to Setup > Create > Objects > Project Task
- Under Custom Fields & Relationships click on the Status field
- Under Picklist Values, click Edit on Planned status. Replace 'Planned' with 'Not Started' and Save
- Under Picklist Values, click Edit on Delayed status. Replace 'Delayed' with 'Waiting on someone else' and Save
- Under Picklist Values, click Edit on On Hold status. Replace 'On Hold' with 'Deferred' and Save
- Under Picklist Values, click Del on Cancelled
