Add Custom Fields to Create Task Window in Resource Allocation Page

The Resource Allocation page allows you to track vacation (PTO) or reserve a resource's time by creating Salesforce tasks with a type of "Vacation" or "Future Project" (for more information, please see Resource Allocation).

Did you know that you can add custom fields in the "Create Task" window?

If the field(s) you would like to add to the Create Task window does not yet exist, you would first need to create a new custom field in the Activity object. The Activity object is where you need to go to create custom fields for Salesforce Tasks.

Once you've created the custom field(s), you can then add it to the Create Task window via a field set.
