The Predecessor & Successor Lightning Web Component makes it easy to view a task’s predecessors and successors, providing important information such as their status, whether they are overdue, and who they are assigned to. This gives project team members greater visibility into task dependencies and helps them quickly identify tasks that may impact the schedule or require attention.
The component can be customized to display additional task information that is relevant to your organization and project management processes.
This help article walks you through how to add fields to the Predecessor & Successor Lightning Web Component, allowing you to tailor the information displayed for predecessor and successor tasks to better meet your team’s needs.
Please Note:
You must be a Salesforce System Administrator to be able to perform the steps outlined below as it requires access to Salesforce Setup.
The fields added to the In the Field Set section will be displayed in the Predecessor & Successor component when viewing a task. Click on Save when finished.
