Admin Guide - Add Reconcile Project Collaborator Button to Project

    The Reconcile Project Collaborators button allows users to run a batch job that will reconcile collaborator records for the project. 

     

    This help article shows you how to add the Reconcile Project Collaborators button to your Project Lightning record page.

     

    Please note:

    The steps outlined in this article must be completed by a Salesforce System Administrator as it requires access to Salesforce setup.

     

     

    1. Click on the Gear icon in the top right corner and go to Setup.


       
    2. Go to Object Manager.


       
    3. Enter "Project" in the Quick Find box and click on Project.


       
    4. Click on Page Layouts. Click on the page layout you are using for projects. The image below is just an example.


       
    5. Click on Mobile & Lightning Actions.


       
    6. Drag "Reconcile Project Collaborators" under the section called "Salesforce Mobile and Lightning Experience Actions".

      Click on Save when you are finished.


       
    7. If you are using record type for projects, you will need to repeat the steps above for each project page layout you are using.
