The Assignment Completion Rule feature gives you greater control over how Project Tasks are marked complete when multiple resources are assigned. You can now choose whether a Project Task is completed only when all assignees finish their Salesforce Tasks (current behavior) or as soon as the first assignee completes their task.
The rule is set at the Project level and can be overridden for individual Project Tasks, making it easy to support different workflows within the same project. When using First to Complete, Inspire Planner automatically completes the remaining assignment tasks to keep everything in sync—improving efficiency and reducing manual updates.
This enhancement provides more flexible task completion logic while maintaining consistent data and user experience across projects.
This help article will walk you through the necessary configurations to use this feature.
