The Resource Profile makes it easier to manage resource details by bringing important information together in one place. Previously, resource details—such as hourly rates and working hours—were stored directly in the Salesforce User and Contact object, which created challenges around permissions, complexity, and data sensitivity.

You can customize the Resource Profile by adding custom fields and selecting which fields are visible when viewing a profile. This help article walks you through the steps to configure these settings.
This section will show you how to add custom fields to the Resource Profile.
When you click on a user or contact in either the Utilization or Resources subtab within Resource Management, Inspire Planner will automatically check if a Resource Profile already exists. If it doesn’t, one will be created for you. The Resource Profile will then appear on the right side of the screen.
The fields you see in the Resource Profile panel are controlled by the Resource Management field set. This section guides you on how to add fields to the field set so they appear in the Resource Profile panel.
