There are a number of triggers in Inspire Planner that perform different processes when Projects and Tasks are created and/or updated. When importing data into Inspire Planner, these triggers should be disabled so as not to encounter limits within Salesforce.
Triggers should only be disabled when you are importing data or performing a mass update using either the Inspire Planner Project Import Wizard or when using Salesforce Data Loader to import data into the org. You should disable these triggers before importing or updating data.
Please Note:
Once you are finished importing or updating data, you should set triggers back to being enabled as these triggers perform a number of important processes and functions within Inspire Planner.
If you are migrating/seeding data from one org to another with a third-party app, you only need to disable the triggers in the org that data is being migrated/seeded into.
There is a custom setting within Inspire Planner which allows you to disable triggers.
Once you are finished importing or updating data, you should set triggers back to being enabled as these triggers perform a number of important processes and functions within Inspire Planner. To enable triggers, simply set the setting "Disable Triggers for Data Migration" back to FALSE.
