Inspire Planner Custom Report Types

There are nine (9) custom report types in Inspire Planner that make it easier for you to report on projects, task assignments, resource profiles, time entries, checklists and Project risks and issue. They are as follows:

    • Resource Utilization - this report type allows you to report on Salesforce Tasks, the related Inspire Project Task and Project. This report type is ideal for when you want to report on Task assignments. However, since this report type is reporting on Salesforce Tasks, then it will only allow you to report on tasks that have been assigned since a Salesforce Task is created only when the Project Task is assigned to a resource.

    • Project Tasks with or without Salesforce Tasks - this report type allows you to report on Projects and Project Tasks with or without related Salesforce Tasks. This report type is ideal for when you want to report on both assigned and unassigned tasks.

    • Project Time Tracking - this report type allows you to report on Projects, Project Tasks and the related time entries. This report type is ideal for when you want to report on individual time entries associated with tasks.

    • Timesheet Reporting - use this report type when reporting on Timesheets.

    • Projects with Project Tasks with Checklist Items - this report type allows you to report on Projects and Project Tasks with related Checklist Items. For example, you may want to report on when checklist items were completed.

    • Projects with Risks & Issues - this report type allows you to report on Projects with Risks & Issues.

    • Users with/without Resource Profiles - use this report type when reporting on users and their resource profiles.

    • Contacts with/without Resource Profiles - use this report type when reporting on contacts and their resource profiles.

    • Resource Profiles with Rate Cards & Project Teams - use this report type when reporting on resource profiles (users and contacts), rate cards and project team records.

    Please note:

    • If you've added custom fields to Inspire Planner objects such as Projects, Project Tasks, Time Entry, etc., they will not be part of the Inspire Planner Custom Report Types.

    • Since these report types are part of a managed package, you cannot edit them. If you need to edit them to include your custom fields, then you will need to clone them first and then you can edit the clone.
