The Template Console is where you manage your project templates as versioned products and roll improvements into the projects already running them. Instead of a template improvement only reaching new projects, Smart Sync lets you push the change into active projects - reviewing every change, protecting work that has already started, and showing the schedule impact before anything happens.
Existing project templates must be migrated to the new Template Console before they can be managed using the new interface.
Please Note:The Template Console is currently available as a BETA feature and will be included in Inspire Planner’s NOV 2026 Major Release, available in Production environments on November 24, 2026.
Ensure that your Salesforce System Administrator has completed the steps outlined in Admin Guide - Migrate to Template Console.
Follow these steps to migrate an existing template to the Template Console.
A confirmation message will appear indicating that the migration process has started. The migration will run in the background, and you will receive an email notification once it is complete. Click Close to close the message.
You will receive an email notification once the migration is complete. The email will include a link to the migrated template in Template Console.
Click the link to open the template record and review the migrated template.
Repeat the steps above for each Project Template you want to migrate to Template Console.Note:In addition to migrating existing Project Templates, you can also create new templates directly in Template Console.
