Admin Guide - Enable API for Help Center Access from within Inspire Planner

    The Inspire Planner Help Center is an online knowledge base that contains how-to articles, setup guides, and best practices to help users and administrators effectively use and configure Inspire Planner.

     

    To access the Help Center from within Inspire Planner, the user’s profile must have API Enabled. This article will walk you through the steps to enable API access for a user profile.

     

    Please note:

    • Auto-authentication is limited to Salesforce Production environments and is not available in Sandboxes.
    • You must be a Salesforce System Administrator to complete the steps in this article.

     

     

    1. Click on the Gear icon in the top right corner and go to Setup.


       
    2. Enter "Profiles" in thesearch box, and click on Profiles.


       
    3. Locate the user profile for which you want to enable API access, then click Edit next to it.


       
    4. Scroll down to the Administration Permissions section, then locate API Enabled and ensure the checkbox is selected. Click Save when finished.
